At the UZ Brussel you need to have an excellent knowledge of Dutch. However, we regularly welcome new colleagues in positions where a good knowledge of Dutch is not mandatory. Important information:

We have learnt that fake vacancies and job offers are being circulated in the name of UZ Brussel. They often ask for an advance payment for training, visa or travel expenses or to share bank information.

We never charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process. The request to share payment details or bank information should alert and be reported to the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken. Please also notify our internal HR Talent Acquisition department (jobs@uzbrussel.be).

Fraud attempts often use the following techniques to appear legitimate:

- Correspondence falsely signed in the name of genuine Uz Brussel employees, or people pretending to be employees of UZ Brussel.

- Documents and websites may contain an official-looking Uz Brussel header, including the company logo or name

- Correspondence with e-mail or website addresses containing the word "UZ BRUSSEL" or a similar name, or the URL of a real or fictitious Uz Brussel website

If you are concerned about the authenticity of a job posting purportedly offered by UZ Brussel, please email jobs@uzbrussel at UZ Brussel. We can then let you know if the offer is legitimate and if not, we will investigate and if appropriate act.
